Orka Artisan Cafe& Bistro

Set on Braemar Road in the centre of Ballater, this small cafe serves coffee, cakes, soups and paninis with vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Outdoor tables face the town square, and dogs are welcome, making it a regular stop for walkers off Deeside's hill paths.
