A family butcher trading from Blackrod since the business moved to New Street in 1938, following earlier premises on Wigan Road. Now run by fourth-generation brothers Paul and Simon Phillips, it sources local beef and pork, holds Q Guild membership since 1992, and has kept a top food hygiene rating every year since ratings began.
